I say: “Time is Money”.

There able be not many sayings truer or more improved known than that ancient saying: “Time is Money”. This is specially real inside the recent era, where the twin powers of technology and world-shrinking have rushed up time like never before, as a result events can now occur and outspread all over the planet in a matter of moments. People are always rushing about and no-one appears to own the required complimentary time.

although despite this, innovations such as the cyberspace mean that us are right now wasting time similar never before. Even as me note this I am taking it a little simple, absorbing to some beats when I should might be a century percent focused on my work. Facebook in especially has become such a time eater that some managers have banned employees from utilising it in the office. It should thus be no shock that many owners have begun using time tracking and time billing software.

The idea of transcribing the time required to do single tasks in the work is not a new one. Factory owners in UK during the period of the industrial revolution would micromanage their workers to duck unnecessary wastage of time and raw materials, whilst post mass production lines were too monitored to make sure maximum efficiency. For example, if it took the normal worker two minutes to complete a task, managers could suss from this information roughly how much times a shift workers could be expected to do this and how many goods could be produced with the work strength available.

Time tracking software measures the amount of time workers consume doing specific things, if it is completing certain jobs or using a certain computer programme. Such programmes are very flexible and the information harvested can be used for a variety of things. For example it can be merged into the company accounting or payroll schemes, or to collect information on which plans are being worked on the biggest. Thanks to such programmes, bosses can now grasp micromanagement to a complete new floor – although the programme developers shouldn't expect much thanks from employees.
