Ancient and new streams of street art – theme for a house design.

Fresco is a method of mural colouring made upon semi wet lime plaster, that is the reason why this sort of works became an integral part of the wall. The most recognisable fresco was created by Michelangelo in Rome in the Sistine Chapel.

Nowadays this method is used very rarely, however more and more famous have become murals. Actually fresco is a kind of mural, because mural appers to be a kind of artwork coloyred or applied right on a wall, so we may say that Banksy is XXI century Michelangelo and he can have got the same popularity like the genius artist who worked in the XVI century among contemporary people. Today when we say murals wall and pictures appear in front of our eyes, mostly with antiwar or anticonsumerism slogans. Mural is a kind of art and it is destined for the large audience. In many towns there are entire quarters ornamented by murals – Explore Demural. They come into sight in giant spaces, murals wall and large surface area that is the best connection, most of the time these pieces of art are painted on great buildings with apartments.



Sometimes murals appear on public facilities (like train stations) or communication constructions like in the city of Cracow (Republic of Poland) where roundabount was painted with mural which represent a very big box of water colour, what is good to now – this mural is completely legal and it connects with recollections about primary school and childhood. Murals are most of all well-painted with a good technique, maybe that is the reason why so many people want to have them in their houses – check . Now wall painting is very popular in an indoor spaces, so we have got children room murals with cars or toys, kitchen murals full of fruits and vegetables and living rooms with romantic sunset. Of’ course these pictures may be much more complicated therefore we can have kitchen murals with for example an ancient cook at work, in general with everything that we imagine. It is only a question of our needs and o’ course the tallent of an artist.

Fresco was famous in XV-XVIII century and it cost a lot, today we can have got a part of past times – a magnificent mural just in front of us in our spaces and buildings.
